Gemini Season 2025

On Tuesday May 20th, the celestial Twins invite us out to play; rekindling our curiosity, calling us to connect with others, and encouraging us to seek out perspective-evolving experiences as the Sun settles into the sign Gemini.

This stimulating new solar season marks the end of Spring. The seeds of intention that we planted under the Aries Sun grew into something tangible and beautiful with the steady support of Taurus, and have now gone to seed once more. Gemini’s job is to ignite the winds of change and disseminate this next generation of seeds - mixing and melding them with magical new potentials in the process - as we prepare for the subsequent seasonal cycle: Summer.

This particular Gemini Season sports an epic celestial agenda. We kick things off with the Sun conjoining dwarf planet Sedna on Wednesday May 21st. Consciousness shifts abound under this cosmic combination as we’re called to shed old egoic storylines we’ve been clinging to and open ourselves to previously unimaginable possibilities.

On Saturday May 24th, Saturn initiates a new cycle around the zodiac as it enters the sign Aries. This ingress brings renewed passion and a fresh perspective on the legacy we’re here to leave and the “great works” we’re working to manifest. It offers us the courage to become the authors of our own life stories and can help us channel the influx of new Geminian ideas into intentional action.

On Sunday May 25th, winged messenger Mercury (the season’s planetary ruler) will gain strength as it flies into its homes sign Gemini and joins the Sun for a spell. Then on Monday May 26th, Mercury conjoins the New Moon, and on June 1st, it will travel out-of-bounds for the rest of the season. What all of this suggests is that radically new, boundary-breaking narratives are ready to be born. The New Moon overflows with mindset magic and tells us it’s never too late to change our minds and, in so doing, alter the course of our lives.

And Mercury out-of-bounds is arriving in “divine time” to shatter the limits we’ve placed on what’s “possible” and open our eyes to a new spectrum of potential futures.

Lastly, under the Full Moon in Sagittarius on June 11th, Mercury and Jupiter (the planetary rulers of the Sun and Moon) will form a conjunction in the early degrees of Cancer. This lunar event encourages us to birth hopeful and optimistic new beliefs for ourselves and our lives, that serve to nurture and sustain the rapidly evolving and beautifully boundless lens through which we view the world.

The sky is no longer the limit come season’s end. If we go with the celestial flow these next few weeks, we’ll almost certainly arrive at uncharted territory, as new people, free to blaze a new path forward. It’s a scary and simultaneously liberating thought. Try it on, rumble with it, adjust it to fit, then let it lift and carry you to a better future.
