Leo Season 2025

On July 22nd, the Sun enters Leo; thus calling us to conjure our confidence and courageously give birth to the gifts we so carefully gestated during Cancer Season. We’ve worked hard to bring said gifts to fruition and now it’s time to shine our manifested light brightly for all to behold.

This is a celebration; a time to enjoy life to the fullest and take pride in the fruits of our labor. Under the Leo Sun, playfulness and creative self expression feed our spirits, and levity, leisure, love, and laughter strengthen our souls.

That said, with a multitude of retrogrades in the mix (and Chiron and Ceres soon to join this retrospective revolution), it may seem harder than usual to “find our place in the Sun.” We might encounter old fears or residual shame surrounding being seen, heard, and witnessed. Maybe we’ve been made to feel as though we’re “too much” when we’ve sought attention, approval, or acknowledgment, or perhaps our outpouring love, light, and generosity have gone unmet or unnoticed. It’s likely that some of our most cherished gifts have lacked appreciation from our nearest and dearest, and have struggled to find their footing as a result.

This is a time to reparent our blissful and brilliant inner child… to heal their woundedness with warmth and unconditional approval … and to recognize where their vulnerability has been met with an unsympathetic ear and grant ourselves grace and kindness as we relearn how to express ourselves fully and from the heart .

As we walk through this season, remember to savor the Sun on your skin, the supreme pleasure of a smile, and the joy of simply being. We’ll have plenty of space for further self-analysis under the subsequent sign, so do the soul work that’s currently calling you, but feel free to leave the rest for later.
