Virgo Season 2025

On August 22nd, the Sun settles into the sign Virgo and the celestial Virgin invites us into a spell of soul work and sacred introspection. This is the conclusion of Summer in the northern hemisphere. The light that we brought to life with Cancer and shined bright under the Leo Sun has now begun to lose some of its luster.

“Not all that glitters is gold,” sayeth the Virgo Sun.

We’re now asked to discern which of our gifts are worth honing and which were simply performative as we savored the much needed warmth and appreciation of the Leonine applause. The answer to this question lies in our souls and the unique service they yearn to share with the world.

Virgo returns us to our wholeness, reminds us of who we are and what we’re here to “do,” and completes a cycle of sacrosanct self-actualization as we prepare for a deeply relational journey in the subsequent season.

This particular Virgo Season has an epic evolutionary agenda in store - with two initiatory New Moons (the first occurring tonight) and a set of eclipses.

Somehow we’ve lost sight of our sanctity. Perhaps our growing disconnect from the Earth has left us feeling fractured. Or maybe maltreatment linked to our gender, ethnicity, sexuality, etc. in this lifetime and/or lifetimes prior has planted seeds of perceived imperfection and unworthiness. Or perhaps a storyline of subservience, sacrifice, and inequality was woven into our upbringing and has become a self-sabotaging part of our identity. Whatever the wound(s), it’s time to witness them fully and take steps towards healing.

The season opens with a New Moon that opens the door to a better future. Change is underway and we have infinite support from the universe with the New Moon sitting at the top of a powerful yod (a.k.a. “finger of God”) and the Uranus-Sedna conjunction making itself felt. The subsequent eclipses will then come to clear the karmic debris and offer us a quantum leap forward.

So start living daily life in alignment with your dreams. Release the routines that keep you karmically bound. And get ready for an exciting new chapter!
